The third and fourth grand finalists of country’s number one talent-reality show “Pilipinas Got Talent” have been named last Sunday and it is the all-male dance quartet B4 and hoola hoop master Angel Calalas who made it to the second cut of the semi-final round.
After the overnight voting, B4 led nationwide votes that automatically gave them the first grand finalist slot. Judges, on the other hand, must choose whom between Angel and band Skeights, who ranked 2nd and 3rd place in text votes, will also make it to the grand finals. Kris Aquino, Ai Ai Delas Alas, and Freddie “FMG” Garcia made a unanimous decision and all voted for Angel’s breathtaking truly world class hoola hoop act.
The two acts will now advance to the grand final alongside other grand finalists to be named in the coming weeks.
PGT continues to be the country’s number one reality-talent show. Last Saturday, PGT scored a national TV rating of 24.7% versus rival shows “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” (17%) and “Talentadong Pinoy” (7.7%). It also ruled last Sunday when the show rated at 18.3% nationally versus “Show Me Da Manny” (9.6%), according to Kantar Media/TNS.
This Saturday, May 14, who among semi-finalists (clockwise, L-R) Rafael Pavia, Jose Emmanuel Cubil, Collins Gutierrez, Zaldy Carlos, Dance Selection, and Happy Feet will make to to the finals?
Don’t miss “Pilipinas Got Talent 2,” hosted by Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford, airing every Saturday and Sunday, 8:45 PM on ABS-CBN.
